The idea for the Home Medical Appliances Website came about when Sadie Holthouse realized that instead of taking the time to explain the whys and how tos to her non medical friends’ use of blood pressure monitors, oximeters and other essential medical devices, she should create a website to collate all information about the common types of medical appliances used in the home.
Sadie has a B.Sc (Nursing) and a wealth of experience in the medical sector as well as real world experience in business, Government health policy and disability care sectors.
She also has hands-on experience in aged care and is a champion for medical advocacy. So with her husband’s web building experience the Home Medical Appliances website was launched in early 2022 to help people acquire the knowledge they need to make the right choices when purchasing and using medical equipment for use in the home.
